Are the triangles showing to the left? Maybe you have to move verse 2 to the correct level.

They are showing. I took a very recent (today) older file and cleared everything individually rather than clear all. It works. There must be a setting.

I used that to make a new template which works. Crazy thing is the older template worked.

I used ot be able to drag the second verse father below the first verse, but now I annot see any triangles to the left to do this.  What am I missing?  Thanks.

I can not tell what you are missing, but there is another option:

Lyrics menu > Adjust Baselines…

The issue is that the song has two verses.  Obviously verse two needs to run parallel under verse one.  When I tried to click in the verse two lyrics, they were almost touching the verse one lyrics.  In the past I was able to find a triangle to the left and rage verse two down to avoid this.  Now I cannot find these triangles.  I have not done lyrics for a very long time.  Thank you.

I also have found that verse two has some different rhythmic figures in two places.  How can you put notes in for verse two only as I know changing the rhythms will force the verse one lyrics to go along for the ride.  Thanks.

Have you selected a note for a lyric in the line you wish to adjust?

Are you in "Type Into Score" mode?

You can switch stanzas in the Lyric Edit screen.

I am attaching the vocal part.  At letter A is one spot where verse two has eights at the start and verse one has a quarter note due to lyrics in it.  The rhythm at Letter C in the first bar is different on verse two. I click them into the score from the lyrics window.

You need to be in Type Into Score mode to see the triangles. Just skip over the notes that scan differently from the other verse. Often, a dashed slur is used on the notes.

You can upload your file to Dropbox or something similar, and post a link. Or, just post a screenshot for us to look at.
