Hi!

I had to rebuild my computer & reinstall all software. I downloaded JABB3 from my account page. The Aria player installs fine, but the JABB3 hangs during the sample install. I've tried multiple times, to multiple destinations, but it always hangs, and never at the same file. I end up having to Force Quit the Sample Manager CMD. Then the installer finishes, saying the installation was a success, which, of course, it wasn't.


The Aria Player sees JABB3, but it errors when you try to load an instrument, because it can't find the samples.

Is there a way to load the JABB3 samples manually?

This was all working fine before my old HDD crashed. Please help!

Hi All,

 

If you are still having troubles installing Garritan Jazz & Big Band, here are a couple of suggestions:

 

1. Try downloading the installer afresh from a web browser other than the one you tried initially; when installing - make sure the computer doesn't fall asleep!

2. Check your computer's storage. Sometimes computer's that have less than 25% of their available capacity available can have trouble installing the some of the earlier Garritan libraries. Installing the samples to an external hard drive, if possible, is a good way around this.

3. If you are still having trouble, please use the Submit a request link at the top of this page to contact our Customer Success team for further assistance. Please be sure to include your serial number and/or email address associated with the library when writing in.
