Feature request: create the ability to UNDO/REMOVE COURTESY ACCIDENTAL with a short cut

Currently when you add a courtesy accidental with shortcut "P", there is no way to remove it if you change your mind except by deleting the note and re-entering. I request a way to undo a courtesy accidental with a one keys stroke shortcut...in effect something like "P" but which does the opposite...removes a courtesy accidental.

Hi Steven:

Kudos to Mike for providing a recommended workflow improvement. I'm marking this as implemented as there is no further work needed. I would say that I still dream of a day when you can do all the re-mapping of keyboard shortcuts in Speedy as you can in Simple. That day will come, just not soon enough for me.

I mapped CTRL-P to do it. Since P adds it, and toggles the parentheses on and off, that just seemed logical to me.

In older versions, the P toggled through Add with Parentheses, Remove Parentheses, and Remove (completely.) I have often wondered why they changed that.

uh ... well ... this is already a thing. I do it all the time.

CTRL + SHIFT + - (Minus)

It forces and hides accidentals.

Thanks George but on my Mac it turns out it's CMD + SHIFT + - (minus)....maybe that's a PC/ MAC difference?

This is a great idea. I have never done that kind of mapping, only meta tool reprogramming. How did you do that...in the shortcuts page (default or laptop)? Or can you point me to a topic in the Index which explains how to do that kind of mapping?

The command for Accidental:Show/Hide courtesy is in the Simple Entry Shortcuts. Select it, and edit the shortcut!

You will notice that I also changed the shortcuts for up and down octaves. Very convenient if you enter your notes from the QWERTY keyboard, like I do.
