Hi

I would like to make the "leg" of the note, (I don't know how to call it...) a bit longer. I have an F#3, (small octave) in F clef, it's leg gets only to the second line of the staff, (where B is written), and I need it to get lower. How would you do it?

Thanks a lot!

Amit

Hi Ab Cd:

Glad you figured this out and see you can already accomplish the task in Finale.

Can you post this in the Problems & Questions forum with a picture of what you mean? I'm pretty sure you are talking about making the stems/beams longer, but I could be wrong.

Thanks, you are pefectly right, I mean to make the stems of a beamed note longer, so the arc would be a bit far from the 1/16 horizontal line.

But I have figured out that I should do it with Beam angle tool

Thanks!
