After testing the various (mic) set-ups of the CFX (full version), I came to the conclusion that all I will need for now are the Classic samples (both close and ambient). Is it possible to somehow remove the 'Contemporary' and 'Player' sample files, to save space on my SSD? Or is it going to affect the 'Classic' samples?

When browsing through the Garritan folder in my program files, I can see the data folder with the samples, however, everything seems to be coded with numbers/letters.

Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit

CFX concert grand v1.010, ARIA engine v1.916

I would not recommend trying to remove particular mic positions in this manner. The way the player loads the samples is not based off of the piano preset or mic but there is an overlapping of the use of these. So there is not a way of discerning the difference between them in a named manner like this. The only smaller installation I can recommend to save drive space would be to the compact installation.
