My AUDIO SETUP has been reconfigurated and tested and working. in hybeerscribe, I have a document all set up with key, tempo, no. of bars, time signature, etc. I have been able to input notes using simple entry, but CANNOT record using HYPERSCRIBE. I've read all the troubleshooting articles. One in particular says that there is a know issue that "that prevents the choice of the All Channel setting from sticking when reopening the HyperScribe Options dialog box, reopening the file, or restarting Finale. Please be sure to reselect the All Channels option when beginning a HyperScribe session.
I have set it and re-set it MANY MANY times ro "receive ALL channels" but every time I re-0pen that window I See that it has reverted back to receive "only channel". So I click on HYPERSCRIBE, click in a bar of a single stave, the box comes up on the bar where i click, the metronome begins clicking, but after waiting 2 bars and I begin to play there are NO NOTES appearing on the stave, and nothing is recorded.
This is a maddening issue. PLEASE HELP!!!
