It wouldn't be too hard to add this, I would imagine:  simply to be able to copy chord symbols from one part to another and keep their exact position in the measure. Or a batch copy-and-paste for a whole part or multiple measures. This is a feature that I would love to see on a future update.

Hi James:

 

As Peter accurately pointed out, this functionality already exists via the Filter functionality found under the Edit menu.

 

Here is the Help topic for Mac on the dialog box. You would go into the dialog box, click None, then check "Chords & Fretboards" under Markings, OK out of the dialog box. Then copy and paste from source to destination. You can also temporarily turn off the filter in the Edit menu via "Use Filter" menu item. Hope this helps. Thank you for posting.

You can copy {only chord symbols} by using the Copy Filter.

Win 10, Finale 2012

Thanks everyone-- just used this to copy chords to a condensed score.  Worked like a charm, even on my Windows laptop!
