I'm using Windows 10.  I've installed Kontact, VDL, and Finale 27.  Everything seems to work-ish and I can get Finale to do playback through Kontakt.  Problem is, when I'm trying to use snare drum sounds, all the options sound like absolute garbage and I don't know why!  It's not anywhere near the quality that I've seen others get.  I'm about to be a new band director and I will likely be arranging/writing all of my marching band shows.  I hate the default sounds that Finale has and I would love to upgrade them using Kontakt.  Is there a way to automatically map instruments in finale to default to those sounds in Kontakt? How do I get the snare drum sounds to not sound like garbage?
