I want to make the note staff lines wider (but still equal distance), and the note heads bigger. I am writing music for beginning musicians with alphaNotes in them. It would be easier for them to see the note names if it is all just bigger. I am not finding an easier solution to this problem. Maybe it's so simple that I've overthought it and am overlooking it. Please Help

Welcome to the forum!

Finale has a Resize Tool.

I would experiment with the Resize Tool.

When you are in the Resize Tool, context-click on the page.

In the context menu, choose

Resize Page…

This step will not change the Page Size, but rather resize everything on the page.

Peter answered your question but Finale gives you a tremendous amount of control over this.

Here is a series of lessons on Scoring Notes that gives you a good overview. Anyone using notation apps should be receiving their free subscription—you can sign up on any of their pages.

The way I prefer is not with the resize tool but through Document Options. That gives you tons of control over elements like barlines, staves, noteheads, clef font etc.
