Hi, I use several other music programs (pro tools/guitar pro, etc.), often simultaneously, and there is always a conflict with Finale when I open it up. The error message usually says "unable to open selected Midi port. This may be due to another application using the same port"
I'm wondering if there 3rd party software so you can run several music programs at the same time. Any recommendations?

I am on windows 11, finale 27.3.
I have pro tools running and now want to open Finale. I get the error message "unable to open selected Midi port. This may be due to another application using the same port." This happens every time I have two music programs accessing midi. I have read that windows only allows one midi port open at a time. My question, is there software that allows you to route the midi so two or more programs will work?
