I was playing back a file to check it before exporting the audio file to send it to the singers, only to find that the dynamics were playing back incorrectly (actually, not at all. I even tried changing ppp to ffff and vice versa: no change). Not again I thought. After many hours of rebooting, clearing out caches, midi data etc etc etc my mood had improved no end. Then I noticed that I only had Staff Set 1 displaying. When I changed back to All Staves, suddenly the dynamics started playing back correctly. The glissandos started playing properly too. The only thing that wouldn't behave properly were the fermatas, they were completely ignored. While I was glad it started playing back (more or less) correctly, I have no idea why hiding empty staves would change the playback. If one of the experts on this forum  can offer me an explanation, I would be grateful...Might it be relevant that the file was created in Finale 25?
