Studio 1 v 5.2 now has a Sound Variations feature in the midi editor inspector panel that recognises the VST that is being used on a track and lists all the playing characteristics (the CC  controls we see in the CONTROLS panel) with their full names. These can then be inserted into the midi tracks (e.g. as key switch notes) to change the nature of the track in real time. They use Vienna Symphonic Library "Synchron" to demonstrate that in the latest video showcasing the new release.

GPO5 and COMB apparently don't do this. Does anyone know how it can be made to link to the new S1 feature (which is really cool)? I have asked Make Music directly too. Wouldn't mind an upgrade (GPO 6?) if that is what it takes.

Incidentally, the orchestra VST library used in the S1 video was Kontakt Spitfire Albion One -  a more direct competitor, price-wise, for GPO than VSL.
