This issue has been progressively getting worse over the past few weeks until now, Garritan is not recognising midi files at all.

I usually render offline in the standalone player. I select an instrument, load the midi file from my scoring software, select a target location and name for conversion to a wav file and then click the Render button. There is no problem loading files, it is just with the conversion process. The rendering process plays the file fast and you can see the notes on the keyboard playing at superfast speed. When I have the issue, the notes don't play and the file that is produced is silence.

I have reinstalled the Garritan software and made sure it is the latest version.

I have checked the midi files with different software and confirmed that there is data in the files.

I have tried it with a midi file from a different source thinking that it may be an issue with my scoring software and had the same issue.

I have checked the forums and there appear to be a reasonable number of people that have difficulties similar to my problem with midi files but there is so far no suggestions for solutions.

I am using Windows 10 and I use Musescore as my scoring software.
