My Classic Pipe Organs and Aria have become inoperable.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times, to no effect.

Each time, I have downloaded the latest version (1.8.7.2).  I choose all the default locations for the program and the samples.   (That is, on the C drive SSD, where the operating system is located.)  I have also tried loading the samples on another internal SSD – still with no success.)

At first, the  process of installation appears to proceed normally (no error notices).  And when I click the desktop icon, the Aria Player screen comes up, as it should.

But whether in stand-alone or through my DAW (Cubase), the program continues to malfunction.

In standalone mode, the following happens:

  1. In the Ensemble box, clicking on “Load” in the pulldown  doesn’t open the ensemble choices; instead, it sends me to the  “com.Plogue.Aria” folder, which is empty.
  1. If I click on individual stops, they do seem to load.  However, input can only be made with the on-screen Aria keyboard – not with any of my controller keyboards.
  1. During my tests I noticed that the stops that can be accessed with on-screen keys have no reverb, and the settings in the Effects controls have no effect – e.g., no reverb can be added to the player.

When using Aria through my DAW (Cubase 11), the  following happens:

  1. Opening a Cubase project that already contains an Aria track results in the notice “The plug-in “Aria Player could not be found for Instrument track [instrument name}” (Attachment #5) (Clicking “OK” allows Cubase to open, but the Aria track is of course inoperable.)
  1. Cubase’s VST Plug-in Manager shows that the Aria Player is installed, and Enabled.
  1. In an open Cubase project, if I add an instrument track, of course I need to select it from the Cubase Inspector VST list. The Aria Player selections do in fact appear here. However, when I click on one of them, and the Aria Player screen appears, the malfunctions I experienced with the Aria Player in standalone (above) are identical.
  1. If I open an existing project that includes an instrument track that contains events, the notification come up sayng that Aira cannot be accessed, and of course the Aria track is silent. (All of the other tracks – Vienna, Chris Hein, EastWest, etc.) play perfectly.

Any help you can provide would be most appreciated.  Thank you8.
