Hi,

I'm running on M2 using Ventura.

I'm looking for ways to sync Finale in realtime with Logic Pro X. I am writing a piece for piano and electronics and would like to sync piano from Finale notation and compose the electronics in Logic Pro. The ReWire apparently is not an option anymore. What is the way to do this?

You can sync Logic with Finale over MIDI but I know of no way to do the reverse anymore since ReWire went away. Although the code was depreciated a number of years ago, Apple didn’t remove it from the MacOS till Monterey 12.1, likewise, it’s gone from Logic.

 

I’m pretty certain that none of this information is correct unless you are running an older version of Logic over an older MacOS.
