more info on smart shape glitch

Operating system Windows 10 Enterprise version 22H2
Finale version: I believe it is 25
Issue: Jazz band score starts to hang on each move, becomes frozen, after I insert a smart shape crescendo not attached to a note or a beat.
To replicate, I made a new score, used smart shape crescendo, and did not see the tiny "attachments" lines to notes or beats, and instantly data check showed 20,000-30,000 smart shapes in my score (none visible) And this move is not deletable...Undo undoes the crescendo, but the 20-30k shapes remain in data check.
