I'm having problems matching a Rhythm  "just so" to apiece I've written parts for and am recording. So I thought I'd render out a sample of the passage in my Reaper DAW of the song I am writing the piece for, and just drag it in to the studio view underneath the music I've written in Finale, and bang it out in "Hyper Scribe". I know I did this all a few years back but I forgot how I did it and, I'm having problems with Finale excepting the file or format of the file. I've tried a ".wav" and ".mp3" format and not having any luck just dragging it in. Anybody have any suggestions?

Oh I'm using Win10

Eureka!! I knew it wasn't that difficult. All I had to do is download the User Manual and enter "Add Audio Track" in the search bar and it gave me all the info. Basically, just look in the menu item Audio/Midi and select "load audio". I though it was a drag and drop thing. Although the offline manual it is a very big download file, it obviously is well worth using the space on my hard drive for it.

I always have the manual open on a second monitor or my iPad whenever I'm working in Finale. Even after 34 years, I cannot remember everything I need to know on any given project. If one looks at the changelog, every version adds and subtracts.
