MacBook Pro, Intel i9, 32 GB RAM, Finale 27.4, Mac OS 14.3

I'm trying to get Finale to play back an older file using NotePerformer sounds.

I have done all the required things (I think): changed sound map priority, changed instrument assignments in the score window, reassigned playback sounds. I don't get what I'm after. The sounds are incorrect.

Thoughts? Other trouble-shooting advice?

I would contact Wallander Instruments and ask them. They are pretty helpful.

I have done all the required things (I think):

 

You have to do them exactly in the order described. Whenever I get into trouble—which I do now and then—it's because I missed a step. This always puts me back on track.

Thank you Mike and Ernest. I did end up contacting support at Wallander.

And, Mike, you are correct. I missed a step. In playback options, one *must* select send patch changes *on each new document*.

Once that was done, no problems.
