I'm a dinosaur - I have 2008 - when I tried to upgrade it said I had no upgrade available.

I use an iMac with OS X El Capitan V10.11.6

What gives?

Try contacting MM directly and giving them the serial number from your current version of Finale. The worst that can happen is that you find yourself where you are now, and the alternative is that you get the discount. You may be able to contact them via the "Submit a request" link above, or their web site may have a phone number.

I have Finale 2014.5. Why after I sign in and click on upgrade doe it not allow me to purchase the upgrade? It says there are no upgrades available for this account.

You can get the Upgrades from within Finale itself, "Check for Updates".

The web-site didn't work for me either.
