Dot (.) not working on an numeric keyboard in V25

Typing an eight (or quarter) note with an dot is not working while using the numeric keyboard on an Mac. In Fin 2014.5 it works normally.

Thanks for posting!

Have you tried resetting Finale's preferences yet? I have verified that this is working in v25 on my Mac, so you may wish to try resetting Finale's preferences to see if that helps. You can do this by saving your work, opening the preferences window (Finale > Preferences), clicking the Reset All Preferences button, and restarting your computer.

Hi Lawson,

It doesn't work. Again tried Fin14.5 (it works) and Fin25 (it doesn't work)

This is an issue with Finale 25 and language settings, specific to the mac. Please review http://forum.makemusic.com/default.aspx?f=6&m=482801 over in the old mac forum.

Hy Cees, I suppose your keyboard preference is dutch?

I had the same problem and managed to solve it by changing to "american english"

just awkward that I now have to shift between the two language preferences to add text. american english has QUERTY setup
