Opening up the ScoreManager window and then checking "colored noteheads" isn't working? Did you check to the settings next to that to make sure that you have colors applied to the notes?

CJ, yes, I followed those steps and nothing happens.

Hmmm, it sounds like we need to dive a little deeper then...

1) What version of Finale are you using and on what operating system?
2) Any chance you could attach a DropBox link with the file so we can see what's going on?

3) Pressing command + "u" and/or command + "d" doesn't have any affect on the score?
4) What kind of things were you doing with the file before trying to apply colored noteheads?

CJ, I finally figured it out. I had to select the staves within the instrument to make it apply. I'm using a grand staff and, since that is all I had, I thought it was selected. However, further research indicated that I have to select each stave. Once I did that, it worked great. Thanks,
