I just installed F25 on my mac OS X 10.11. Instalation is succesfull, but:

1. when I open musx files, there is window "Missing Font Annotation File" 

2. when I create new documents, there is window "Finale cannot find the file Maestro Font Default.musx".

3. There is no Plug-ins menu

 

Finale Instalator didn't install few folders Macitosh HD/Library/Application Support/MakeMusic/Finale/. After copy this folder from another mac all is working good.

What is the reason of it?

Did you restart your computer before installing Finale? The installation instructions say not doing so may affect font installation messages. If that doesn't work, you may want to contact Finale support directly using the  "Submit a request" link at the top of this page, since I'm sure MM wants user to be successful installing the program.

I've tried to install the Finale 25.1 updater download on my mac pro laptop using Mac OSx 10.12 twice. Each time as I follow the usual  installation protocol instructions, the computer tells me the installation is successful. However when I go into my Apps. Folder the new 'Finale icon is a document icon with a mac 'A with a pencil thru it' as opposed to the normal 'Finale' app. icon. When I try to open this update, I get a prompt; 'Unhandled exception caught'. The only Finale 25 version my computer sees is the former Finale 25.0 I previously installed. 

I  also have a problem with the score manager window in Finale 25.0 version in that the 'add instruments' sub menus windows will not stay open for me to select from the score manager window as it usually operates. Please advise on both these issues. Otherwise Finale 25.0. is functional.

You may want to forward your Finale directly via the "Submit a request" link above. I had no probs installing on El Capitan (not sure what OS number that is: most of my work in on Windows), but MM likely sees far more variations in probs installing and can help sooner if you contact them directly.
