Small examples to do not zoom correctly to "Fit Width" or "Fit in Window". Haven't tried the Zoom command with more than one example so far.

Can you add what program and Operating System you are using, since I'm sure the Mac and Windows versions would need different answers.

Silly question: do you usually use Book Style or Looseleaf Style under View > Page View Style as that will change the Zoom functions

Not a silly question at all. I just switched to Loose Leaf view and the Fit to Width Zoom, etc. works. However, it doesn't work in Book Style. I can live with that. Loving the speed in Finale 25, and that the development fixed the main window Focus problem that was so annoying in the last version of 2014.5.

Does anyone know how to set VIEW to default to Looseleaf Style Column? seems I always get Bookstyle Column and have to remember to change the VIEW. A small request perhaps but it's annoying that I can't set a preference for this. Thanks, in advance.

Hi Walter,

 

Have you tried using the settings in the New Document Windows section of the New category in Finale's global preferences? That Edit > Preferences for Windows and Finale > Preferences for Mac.
