Other pdf issues

Hi All

it has been noted already that making a pdf file causes the name "untitled.pdf" to be the default name, but I have another problem:

When I use none standard paper sizes (which means almost every pdf I make, the image is displaced about a cm up on the page making the top margin too small and the bottom margin too large.

Also when saving a file in 25 then opening it in an earlier version, the Page Setup is not saved, so printing defaults to A4

I don't have your problem but it struck me that you have A4 as default size.

Would you please be so kind as to tell me how you got A4 as DEFAULT?

I have the idiotic Letter-size all the time in the Setup Wizard and have to adjust it to A4 with each new document.

P.S In old versions of FInale, one could get into the code and change the defaults so that A4 would come up as default size instead of that unwieldy Letter format, but that is not possible anymore, or, at least, I think it can't.

My Finale Default file is set to print at A4. I don't know if that's the cause. I'm not using 25 yet because there are problems that make the workflow unwieldy. To be honest, though I have no idea why it defaults to A4, nor where the A4 settings that it references are kept. Sorry.
