Finale Suggestions (I know you have 24K people sending you suggestions, but here are my few...) Thank you for a great tool.
Shift Lyrics in the Lyric Tool I have always thought that access to this function took too many clicks. I would like window that now comes up when you click to the tool to be accessed by option clicking or right clicking and that the default action (mine is currently and usually Right with the second radio button selected) immediately availably perhaps with each lyric having a handle attached to it (similar to “adjust syllables) to visually see that some action upon the lyrics is doable. Perhaps Option clicking could bring up the dialogue box and right clicking could bring up “Left” as the direction.

Hi All:

We do have any immediate plans to change the behavior of the Shift Lyrics functionality. As Harald has suggested, if you find you do this frequently, a automation tool (Auto Hot Keys on Windows and Keyboard Maestro on Macintosh) can save you time and clicks.

Using a third-party macro program like Autohotkey ( https://autohotkey.com/ ), it would be already possible to do what you suggest. You would need a macro which makes the necessary settings in the "adjust syllables" dialog box and assign a hotkey to that macro.

For me, autohotkey macros are indispensable, e.g. for measure-wise scrolling in scroll view. There are quite some things which are much more easy in Finale with macros. Of course, it would be nice to have all that within Finale without third-party software.

If each syllable has a handle, how about clicking on the handle and then using left and right arrows to move syllable and succeeding syllables to the next available note?
