mac OS 10.11.6 on MacBook Pro; Finale 25

Just upgraded to v25. Using playback through Aria. If I pause playback, and then hit the back arrow in the Playback Controls to go back a few measures, tapping the spacebar jumps the score ahead to some other measure several bars later. No matter where I start from, hitting the space bar jumps me back to that measure. I'm not sure how this is getting set. I can't find a setting where I can alter this.

"Playback Region" in the Playback Controls window is set to 1/1/000 (not leftmost measure).
