Is there a way that after saving or closing a session, Finale would NOT delete the undo history.

 

Windows 10

On my Macintosh setup, contents of the Undo/Redo dialog are still available after a save.

 

After closing a file, then reopening, the Undo/Redo list is lost. Isn't this normal and to be expected?

One more-

In Preferences > Edit, make sure "Allow Undo" and "Allow Undo Past Save" are checked.
