I am considering changing from my Dell to a Mac.  Is there a Mac that you recommend?  Also, I now have Finale 2012 with Windows 7 and I believe when I purchased it I could have made two downloads.  If I use a second download now, will it work on a Mac?  Also, will Finale work with a double screen on a Mac?

Some partial answers ...

If you have a customer account on this site, you can re-download the software you own, and a choice is offered between the PC and Mac version.

The choice of a specific model for a Mac depends on your needs. Notebook or desktop is your first decision to take.

Then, in the case of a desktop model, all in one (iMac with screen included) or not ? A Mac Mini allows you to keep your current monitors.

My Mac Mini has 2 video outputs, thus connects 2 (big) monitors. Highly recommendable.

My set-up even has a third one, connected via a USB external video card.

This is a very similar question...

I'd like to run GPO5 on a Mac Mini 1.4GHz dual-core i5, 4GB RAM and 500GB HD. All I want to do is run GPO5, one voice at a time for live performances. It works fine with my MacBook Pro. Does anyone have any experience with such a Mac Mini? Is this configuration powerful enough to run GPO5 via USB with a Yamaha CP300?

Thanks!
