Crash when starting playback 2014.5

I started playback and then changed my sound output device from earphones to speakers and Finale crashed. When I restarted I could find an .bakx file for the save as and close I did yesterday but no ASVX file for the work I had done today. The ASVx preferences are set at default 15 minutes and I was working longer than that

A. why the crash?

B. why no ASVX file apparent?

Hi Adrian,

We do in fact have an area in our Help Center where you can submit a ticket to us for technical issues such as this. We would be happy to troubleshoot this issue for you. Please submit a ticket with us so that we can gather more information on your computer and the crash. I have included an image below that indicates where you can submit a ticket:

Thank you for the response and the pointer to the "Submit a request button." I am not having a difficulty with crashing; my difficulty has been discovering where to send users who would formerly have been recommended to your MM Support page. Now I know.
