So, new to Finale 14.5 (At least I never noticed it before) when I paste music, finale helps me out by changing the register to suite the instrument I'm pasting to. Kind of a nice feature, but a little annoying when finale changes things I like just the way they are. 

Please tell me how to disable this feature.

Hi Chris

Go to preferences (Edit->Preferences)

On the left hand side, select "Edit"

On the right hand side, disable "Respect instrument ranges when copying or changing instruments" (6th line from the top)
