Hi - Using Mac 10.11.6 and just upgraded to Finale 25. When I try to print (actually, convert to a PDF) my 46-page score, pages 1-35 look great but pages 36-46 show up as blank, even though they look just fine on screen. If I then tell it to print just pages 36-46, pages 36-44 look good but pages 45-46 are blank. Telling it just print pages 45-46 works for those pages. So, I can print my score out if I divide it into three separate documents, but this makes no sense - why can't I just print it all out at once?
There are a number of printing issues. Please submit a support case so that MakeMusic will get them all fixed. Let them know what printer and print driver you are using in case it makes a difference.
I've submitted one and heard back but haven't tested the workaround. It is most un-Mac like and not acceptable in the long run but, if it works in the short term, then it works.
There is a new submenu in the Print screen called Finale Print Options. It includes basic print functionality such as printing multiple copies.
Not only is this not properly documented but by having basic print functions no longer work in the Print box, it ignores the basic Apple programmers guide, both of which I find appalling.
Hi. Using MacBook Air - 13-inch, Early 2015, OS X El Capitan, version 10.11.16.
I just upgraded to Finale 2014 and I printed several times Yet now, every time I click on print or try save as PDF the program crashes and closes automatically. This is very frustrating because I have to produce scores for my students, and I haven't been able to during the last 4 days. I've rebooted my laptop, but it's no better.
