I am using Finale 2014.5 on Windows and pretty much every time I use it I come to this problem of when I use the articulation tool it it automatically place a random articulation on the note I click on without giving me the option of letting me choose the articulation. The same thing also happens with the smart shape and expression tools. I can't seem to find a permanent fix for this as I usually just close it down, re-open it, and work until this problem happens again. Please do help, it would be much appreciated. Thank you.
