Mac OS X 10.9.5., Finale 2014.5.

While I am able to select and move notes and chords in a measure to their cross-staff positions, I am unable to move the last chord or note in a measure to the adjacent staff. For example, in a 6/8 measure, I want to have beats 1, 3, and 5 in the lower staff, while I want beats 2, 4, and 6 in the upper staff. Currently, I cannot move beat 6, and only beat 6, into the upper staff. Any thoughts?

Can you post a score (upload it to dropbox or similar) and post a link to the score here.

Tell us which measure you're having difficulties with.

I used the cross-staff tool and had no more difficulty dragging the final chord to the upper staff than either of the others. I highlighted all three notes of the chord and then dragged them onto the upper staff.

Got it, had to do some digging with the Cross Staff plug-in.
