I've got two issues happening with playback on Finale PrintMusic 2014.5.  I use a Mac OS X El Capitan; Version 10.11.1.

1.  The moving cursor during playback goes much too fast and does not follow the notation and changing the tempo does not help.  So, I cannot hear and read the music at the same time.

2.  After the playback is finished the music keeps going with one long tone and the only way to stop it is to close out of the document.

Any suggestions would be helpful.  Thanks!

To the Community:  I have the same first issue with OS X 10.10.5 (Yosemite) playing back files created on earlier versions of PrintMusic.  I don't have the second problem.

I have the same problem with notes continuing after stopping playback. The only way to end the noise is by quitting out of the file. But I see that the above post was 5 months ago and there is no solution posted yet!

Unfortunately, Finale no longer seems to have phone support which, in the past, was able to resolve these kinds of issues quickly. Terrible customer service! 

Thinking of switching to Sibelius....
