Currently I have to flip the entry caret when I input a note which has 6th, 7th, Oct interval from the previous beat (shift + arrow key).

I would like to input them directly.

use case:

1. press C (1st beat)

2. press UP ARROW + B (2nd beat)

result: The interval should be 7th.

Hi Koichi:
Press Shift + arrow keys to move the cursor by an octave in Simple

Press Shift + Alt + arrow keys to move the cursor and current selected note an octave.

I would recommend you review keyboard shortcuts in the Help menu of Finale.
