Windows 10 - Finale 27

I set up the Jazz notation font for chord suffixes. When I enter them, they look right, but as soon as I tab to the next one, it's not the correct font. I did this BEFORE adding any chords.

The first screenshot below is how it looks WHILE I'm typing it in. The second one is after I finish. (I've reinstalled fonts and rebooted.)

Wow - Mike. Yes. You are my hero. Thank you!

(It turned out to be so easy...how did I not see this? Spent HOURS on workarounds getting nowhere.)

Glad I could help.

IMO, the hardest part of using Finale is knowing how to look up what you need and knowing when you've found it. After 35 years, I keep the Manual open on one of my monitors whenever I am working in Finale. There's just too much for me to remember otherwise.

The Finale mantra:

“The first 10 years are the hardest.”

I've used Finale since the mid-90's. Version 3.5 was the first one I had. I remember doing the 8 tutorials, which were SUPER helpful in learning the program. I love how Finale will do ANYTHING you need it to do. Because it does so much, it's hard to remember those obscure things you don't use often (or have never used at all). Everything else - all the keyboard shortcuts - I can do in my sleep! The first 10 years are definitely the hardest! But here I am after 30 years begging for help in the forum!!!
