Space + click works only when the Playback Controls is closed.

I would like to have a option on the Playback Control to begin playing from the measure.

 

Use Case:

1. Open the Playback Control

2. Check the option

3. Press the Space key

4. Play back begins from the measure where the pointer is on.

I usually just use "Play From Leftmost Measure," but if Finale can implement your suggestion, I am for it.
