Windows 10, Finale 27

So, interestingly, I found no help in the User Manual for inserting the "Current Date" or "File Date."
The User Manual does not seem to know there is a difference and treat them the same: "Date"

One, I would think, would be the date in which one is working (e.g. "today"), and the other would be the date the file was created.

Sometimes I like to print a page or so to use whilst working at the piano, and it would be nice to be able to differentiate 'twixt one version and another.

Any insights?
Thank you,
:-)

"Current Date" is just what it says ... today's date. "File Date" seems to be what the Windows File Manager calls "Date last saved" or "Date Modified"

So when you open a file and insert "File Date" it will show you the date you last worked on and saved the file. If you now work on it and save it (without exiting) and then insert "File Date" it will show ... you guessed it, today's date.
