I'm using 25.1 in Mac OS X.11.6. Can anyone reproduce this?

 

I create a shape in shape designer than includes text. 

In the shape designer menu I select change Font and change the font of the text. (It doesn't seem to matter what fonts are selected)

Hit return or Enter to close the font selection dialog box and Finale closes the box and the shape designer window.

Trying to click OK or close on the remaining dialogs doesn't work until hitting return (as if the Shape designer were still open).

I've noticed the same. However the Shape Designer window isn't closed, it just hides behind the other dialog boxes. Move them and you'll find the Designer Window. (It's a bug!)

I see you’re using 25.1. I had that problem in an early version of 25. The current version is 25.5 (free update). I don’t have the problem in 25.5
