I have tried repeatedly t export a musical arrangement made with VST Aria Garritan instruments, but the resulting audio file is incomplete, cutting of the last 30-40% of the piece. Larger, more complex pieces have been exported successfully and trying to export in pieces does not work. The file ends at the same place no matter what I do. Any ideas?
You are probably already aware of this, but be sure to give Finale sufficient time to export the entire file. (You have not said which version of Finale you are using.) In Finale version 25 and 25.1 audio export does not run the green playback line through the piece as some of the earlier versions did to show export progress. Instead you need to watch the playback time counter scroll to make sure the export has finished.
The other thing to check is the playback settings (that speaker icon in the diagram above--or whatever the Mac equivalent is if that is your OS. Make sure you have not inadvertently set the end of the playback to some point before the actual end of the music.
Hope you manage to work out what is causing the problem.
