I replied to the initial response but just realized that my response was probably not received.  The answer to your example of what I am talking about is 'yes'.

I don't know how to continue this same conversation and the initial reply says I can't reply to 'this email'. If there is a ticket out there I can refer to I don't see one.  

Here is a recap of the initial problem...  I have read everything I can find about inserting grace notes.  Perhaps I have missed something.  When I try to enter grace notes (in this case to the bottom of an octave), after the first grace note has been entered all of the subsequent grace notes pile up right next to the first one no matter what note in the measure I have selected.  (I am trying to write four measures of quarter-note octaves with a grace note on the bottom of each octave.)

Perhaps you are entering the grace notes in a different layer than the other notes in the measure. 

 

You know you could use ALT+PrtScn to copy a page of the file with the problem and then paste it into Windows free Paint program to crop it and save it as a PNG file to attach here. Seeing the problem would make it easier to help you.
