Win 10 and V. 25 of Finale. I want to indicate, for instance, four consecutive eighth notes at the same pitch by writing a half note with one slash through the stem (the slash indicates the tail of an eighth note). In my "Preparing Music Manuscript" books it's called abbreviation. I hope it's possible to do this in Finale because it's a very common practice, but I can't find how to.
