Hi, 

   Using OS 10.6.8 with finale 2012.  I am having difficulty with midi not playing all the notes through an external keyboard.  I've tried multiple keyboards and I can only get playback with a usb a to usb b chord into an inexpensive Casio.  Playing it with built in audio works fine but if i use usb to midi cable into a qs8 I get spotty notes on playback.  If I use the same midi cables to record into protools and create a track it will playback as intended.  If I export the midi file from finale and open it in protools i get the same result of playback not working correctly.   Any insights?
