I had a recent issue resolved by customer service to playback downward-rolled chords correctly. It would be beneficial if there were a way to create a downward rolled chord symbol by combining existing Finale symbols (e.g., rolled chord symbol plus a downward-pointed accent.
To this end, please consider expanding the shape designer tool to copy and past existing symbols into the shape designer "workspace".

Unless I misunderstand you, the Shape Designer has been able to do that for many years.
I can freely position font characters by typing each character in its own text block, and then positioning the text blocks.

As the Shape Designer works now, you can enter font characters by typing them in a text block.
Indeed It Would Be Nice If you could, not only type characters, but also paste characters from the Clipboard.
I'm not asking for FONT characters, but symbols as in the Expression tool -- e.g., I would like to use Shape Designer to combine the existing rolled chord symbol and a downward accent ("arrow") AND be able to select it to adjust it's size -- a rolled chord symbol would be of little use if it can't be resized.
