Good morning,

I kindly ask you for help to understand how to make East West Hollywood work with Finale v.27

What are the procedures to get started?

Thanks a lot

Hi,

This isn't really a Feature Request since EW does work in Finale. Try looking through this video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZs5LSoQXxI

If that doesn't help, please re-post your question over in Problems & Questions:

and please tell us the rest of what we need to know including your OS.

There are users over there who rarely look at this page.

Many Eastwest products will, but Hollywood Choir and anything else with Wordbuilder will not work with Finale due to the multitracking involved with the round-robin sample playback.   Are you talking about Hollywood Choir?

I export from Finale to a MIDI and open it up in Cakewalk.  Even so, the syllables often overlap starting/ending consonants and cut each other off.  I'm going to try to apply an invisible articulation in Finale that shortens the syllables with final consonant, so that the Wordbuilder puts the final consonant within the total duration of the note rather than starting it on the release of the note.
