How to create unique guitar tablature tunings?

Hi, I am using the recent version 27 and need to create custom tablatures for my altered tunings. They've basically got Drop D and DADGAD and that's about it. I use all kinds of unconventional Tunings and am going crazy trying to edit all this Tab and not eing able to losten back once I've edited it. I was hoping Finale would have made this option available in the new version but nope..

I've spent hours looking in forums and googling how to do this and it looks way more complicated than it needs to be. I don't want to learn a new program like GuitarPro to be able to do the stuff all guitarists are doing these days. No Thanks. Can anyone help with this?

If I understand you correctly, using Finale v27 you can not find out, how to create a Finale document with guitar Tablature for a custom tuning, with both playback and layout - right?

You can create a Finale document with guitar Tablature for Drop D tuning - right?

You can create a Finale document with guitar Tablature for DADGAD tuning - right?

My guess is that we need more info from you.
Could you be more specific?

Describe what you want to achieve;
what you do, when you try to achieve it;
what happens;
and what doesn't happen, that you expected.

What steps have you tried that didn’t work?

I could attach a screen shot of the dialog box Fretboard Instrument Definition (showing e. g. FACGCE tuning), but I do not know, whether a screen shot of the dialog box Fretboard Instrument Definition is, what you need.
