I'm using the CFX Concert grand and I keep running into an issue where every time I record, the sustain information gets recorded on two separate automation tracks in Logic. It gets recorded on "Ch. 1: 64 = Sustain" ...which is expected, but then it also gets recorded on Ch. 2 "1 CFX Concert Grand: Current sustain". In the event editor this shows as a fader. What's even weirder is when I delete the duplicate pedal information out of the second automation track, if I re-record and don't send any inputs from my keyboard, the duplicate automation info comes back. I've attached some screenshots. Any ideas? I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure it out.
