Windows 10, Finale 25 (latest update)
I would like to suggest that finale should have a map, which tempos are on which measure.
The same kind of map that there is on the repeats,
The idea why I'm suggesting is I'm transcribing Capella music and the is a lot of Tempo changes over the whole song. When I write it in first draft I put X as tempo, when listen again and want to make faster or slower it could be that I used it in another part. Now when I change the tempo here it will effect the tempo elsewhere.
So I'm suggesting a map to see if I used this particular tempo somewhere else, so I can't change the tempo and need to create a new one. The score could be between 200 to 250 measures plus so I need to look through quite a few pages.

Hi Nachmen:

I want to better understand your request. Are you asking for a chart or map of all the Tempo Marking Expressions used in the file, or the MIDI Data tempo changes?

And where would you like this map to reside?  It could be part of the Tempo Tap staff, MIDI Tool, Measure Number Bar, or Expression Tool.

What are your thoughts?

I got the idea from the repeats. When click on the repeat icon you get in the pop down menu check repeats. When you click on check repeats, it opens a map and it shows the whole score in measure numbers 1-12 etc.
Coming back to my idea to have such a map that show x tempo measure 1-15, 23-34, Y tempo 16-33, etc.
Why do I think it's important because I transcribe music with alot of tempo changes, if I want to change one tempo faster or slower, I can check if I used it in another place if it's used, I would have to make a new tempo marking. Leave the tempo marking as it is.

Thinking about it, maybe a map isn't necessary. If you want to change a tempo, it should come up a warning sign that the tempo somewhere else will be changed. As there is if you change an expression variable , comes a warning that the expressions is used.

So your concern is that if you change a tempo mark's definition in one location, it may affect the tempo of a different part of the composition where the same tempo expression has been used again, and the "map" would help warn you of that possibility.

Is that your thought?

Yes this is my concern going through two hundred plus measures to see if there is another place with the same tempo marking, my think was put it in one place as a map, with it you can see directly if you have it somewhere else .
