hiding vs delating staves in my piece?

Hi all. I was going to work only on the trumpets in my LARGE brass band project, so I went to the score manager and X'd out all the other staves. I thought I was hiding them. PLEASE tell me I didn't permanently lose all my work...no backup! I am now past several opens and closes of the Finale software.....no 'revert' available.

yeah ... If you've saved and exited the program, I'm pretty sure there's no going back. You may want to try loading the .bakx file (you should have one in a folder called "Backups" from your "Finale Files" folder. If this is what you meant by not having a backup, then I don't know what else you could do.

For the future: If you want to work with just a few staves of your piece at a time, using Staff Sets in the Scroll mode is probably your best option.
