In the pref window, Human Playback section, there is a checkbox: "Attach to [filename]" 

The [filename] defaults to last saved version of the file, also when is this happens to be an autosaved *.asv or *.bak  

And that does not make sense; I guess that HP specifications and modifications should be attached to the current *.musx file, independently of any autosaving.
